We chat rosé today, with Paris-based wine expert, Spoiler alert: she's got opinions.
Hey wine lovers, if you aren’t following Tanisha Townsend, as the Parisians would say, Allez! Hâte-toi! Va, cours, vole! (Come on now! Get on it!).
Townsend, also known as J’ai Soif on Substack and @girlmeetsglass on the the ‘gram, moved from Chicago to Paris years ago to pursue her wine career.
I met Tanisha on the slopes of Mount Etna last September during a press trip.
This lady does it all.
She’s sommelier trained, a wine educator, consultant, and wine tour guide. She hosts events, judges wine competitions, and is currently judging me for not visiting her in Paris….(yet!).

Souleil vin de Bounté - The word literally means ‘sun’ and it’s such a light and refreshing rosé that wows people every time. Winery site

Any good stories about rosé?
I mean, it’s not a story, but the number of discussions I’ve had with people about whether or not you can put ice in rosé.
People really have strong feelings about this! I personally believe that you can do what you want with what you spend your money to drink, just know I will be secretly judging you LOL!
Favorite rosé and food pairing?
A simple charcuterie or seafood board...rosé and crab dip slaps!
